While the events of Loki, especially its finale, is expected to have far-reaching effects, changing the franchise and shaking up the timeline on everyone and everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, perhaps no character has been caught in the crossfire as much. than Doctor Strange, who will likely be tasked with cleaning up the mess the Lokis have caused.
Warning: spoilers for episode 6 of Loki, ” Forever. Always. », Will follow.
After reaching the Citadel at the end of time and encountering Kang the Conqueror, aka the One Who Remains, our Loki is unable to stop a revenge-consumed Sylvie, who chooses to kill Kang with a blade in her chest, thereby blowing up the sacred chronology, and the multiverse, wide open.
As a result of Sylvie’s actions, the multiverse is now expanding without control, creating new realities at an almost incomprehensible rate. And as we know, if there is one man charged with protecting realities, it is the Sorcerer Supreme, who told Tony Stark the same in Avengers: Infinity War:
Once Sylvie decided to bring chaos to the multiverse, the attention of Marvel fans immediately turned to Doctor Strange as they hilariously imagined the frustration the good Doctor must be feeling right now:

The consequences of Loki and Sylvie’s multiversal actions will likely be discussed in Spider-Man: No Path Home, which is also expected to feature Benedict Cumberbatch’s probably very pissed off Doctor Strange, in addition to a handful of Spider-Man villains from previous alternate timelines, including Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock from Spider-Man 2 and Electro by Jamie Foxx from The Incredible Spider-Man 2. If the details remain a mystery, you can bet their presence in the MCU will be directly linked to the events of Lokithe finale of the first season.
Then, of course, there is the one from March 2022 Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which not only has the word ‘multiverse’ in the title, but is expected to feature both Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch and Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, the two main culprits of this massive multiversal mess.
