Meanwhile, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will be crying in front of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), so here’s what viewers can expect in Friday’s episode Y&R.
On the Crimson Lights patio, Phyllis and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will talk about Tara having her sights set on Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
As Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) listens around the corner, Phyllis will agree with Billy’s observation that Tara is a real job.
Phyllis will wonder what they are going to do before she notices Sally and tells Billy to keep the thought.
” Hi, can I help you? Phyllis will ask. Sally will briefly talk about Billy’s latest story to ChancComm, but Phyllis will do her best to push her out.
Once Phyllis is alone with Billy again, she will point out to him that they have a double problem if Sally and Tara are in cahoots. Phyllis will insist that Sally and Tara be arrested!
Phyllis will recognize her complicated affair with Billy, but she will be happy that they are on the same side as they drink their cups of coffee.
At Society, Jack will talk a bit about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about the merger being the work of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Meanwhile, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will receive updates from Victoria on Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) moving in in her place.
Victoria won’t think she needs Nikki’s approval, but will invite her to share her opinion anyway. As long as Victoria and the kids are happy, Nikki won’t feel the need to clash.
However, Nikki will think that the father of Victoria’s children might have a thing or two to say. Victoria will assure Nikki that she plans to call Billy and answer the phone as soon as her mother leaves.
At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will call Victor to see if he can help him wrap up regarding Sutton Ames (Jack Landron).
Once Victor agrees to help Amanda, she will inform Devon and worry him with the news of the threat Sutton has delivered recently.
Amanda will downplay the importance of Sutton’s bluster, but Devon will fear it could be something more. He will look worried as Amanda walks over to Victor.
At Chancellor Mansion, Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) will meet Tessa and offer to help Mariah’s drama in any way he can.
Tessa won’t be sure what Stitch can really do, but Stitch will mention that he ran into Mariah – maybe the day she was last seen.
Abby and Tessa will hear about Stitch creating some embarrassment by “mansplaining” the pregnancy exercise to Mariah.
They will educate Stitch on Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) theory that Mariah may have been overwhelmed by the Hovering Babies Team.
Stitch hopes he’s not the straw that broke the camel’s back, but Tessa will admit that she fears something worse may happen.
“What if someone takes Mariah?” Tessa will ask. Abby will wonder aloud who will kidnap Mariah and why, but Stitch will think it’s a real jump.
Stitch won’t want Abby and Tessa to panic, but he’ll let them deal with potential kidnapper suspects.
Tessa will point out that Mariah has done a lot of sketchy things in her past and will mention Ian Ward (Ray Wise), but she will add that he is still locked up.
Abby will talk about the stalker who threw the brick at Crimson Lights, but Tessa will admit he wasn’t scary in person and has left town.
Stitch will recognize that Tessa is a singer and that she must have fans as well. He will ask if Tessa considered the possibility of someone going after Mariah because of her.
Tessa will be horrified to put Mariah in danger and will worry when her sister gets stuck in a prostitution ring.
Stitch will wonder if anyone from that era has resurfaced, so Tessa will admit that would be weird since it was so long ago.
That said, Tessa won’t think she can rule it out. “What if those dark days caught up with me and Mariah paid for my shady past?” Tessa will ask.
Abby will agree that it was a long time ago and will insist that there must be another explanation.
After Tessa leaves to see if she can track Mariah’s phone, Stitch will talk about how criminals can have long memories. He will suggest that someone could have seen Tessa succeed and target Mariah because of it.
Back at Society, Nikki goes to sit down with Victor so they can chat about Victoria. Victor will act like he’s busy with other dramas, but Nikki will complain about her husband ignoring their daughter’s accomplishments.
After Nikki leaves, Victor will wonder “what happened”.
At Abbott Mansion, Sally will irritate Tara by showing up unexpectedly.
Tara will think Sally is her biggest problem right now, but Sally will announce that she is there with a warning about much bigger issues.
She will tell Tara that Phyllis and Billy are conspiring at the cafe, so Tara won’t be surprised since Phyllis showed up earlier with this fake number.
Tara will express her concern about Billy’s involvement as Abbott’s insider and thank Sally for the information.
Sally will want a favor in return and mention that she needs a way to stop Phyllis from throwing it at Jack whenever she gets the chance.
When Billy arrives in Victoria’s office, he will congratulate her on the merger and fish his thoughts on Tara.
Victoria will insist that she summoned Billy to talk about something else, so she will pitch the idea of the children staying with him a little more often.
Billy will agree and assume that Victoria will have to travel more due to the merger, but she will admit asking Ashland to move in with her.
“Victoria, are you inviting a dying man into your house and chasing your children?” Billy will exclaim in shock. Victoria will resent Billy’s idea and tone since she’s actually trying to put kids first.
Victoria will think Billy can help with the transition and poke fun at the fact that kids are used to seeing other people in their lives.
Billy will argue that his situation with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) was not the same and will continue to oppose it, but Victoria will ask for good faith and point out that it is for a few months, not forever.
Billy will worry about the world of grief to which Victoria opens. He will ask if Victoria loves Ashland, but she will refuse to discuss details of her personal life.
At Newman Media, Amanda will tell Victor that she now believes Sutton is the culprit in her father’s murder case.
Victor will wonder what he can do for Amanda, so she’s hoping they can push Sutton into a tight enough corner for him to reveal something.
In the lobby of the Great Phoenix, an angry Devon will approach Sutton. “I’d like to talk to you, son of a bitch,” Devon will say.
Sutton will recognize Devon as the billionaire dating Amanda, so Devon hopes Sutton knows what his money could do to him if Sutton threatens Amanda again.
Sutton will try to stand up to Devon, but Devon will argue that Sutton is a coward and promise Amanda to reveal him.
Afterwards, Amanda will be touched when she hears how Devon defended her. She will also talk about trusting Victor more than her own grandfather.
After Sutton receives a call from Victor, he will stop by Newman Media. Victor will notice that Sutton has a serious problem with Amanda, but he will have a solution for him.
At Society, Phyllis will catch up with Jack and point out how difficult this situation for Tara was for Summer. She will note that Summer must have seen Tara become so grounded and see the family that could have been with Kyle.
Phyllis will think that Jack can surely understand Summer’s point of view, but he won’t think that Tara did anything malicious.
When Jack returns home, he will find Tara in tears. Tara will pretend that Phyllis was there and said things so horrible she can’t even repeat them. She will act as if Phyllis blames her for Summer’s departure and the broken engagement.
Tara won’t even want to talk about it and will push Jack to forget everything. Jack will seem perplexed and worried as Tara leaves the room crying.
Once Nikki reunites with Victoria, she will trust her daughter’s choices and admire her for taking risks.
Victoria will eventually spot flowers that she assumes were sent by Ashland, but she will look at the card and see that they are from Victor to congratulate her.
