It’s Sunday, July 25, the official second day of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics. Here’s what you need to know.

New cases of Covid-19 announced: Ten new cases of Covid-19 were reported on day two, bringing the total number of Games-related cases to 137, according to Tokyo 2020 organizers on Sunday. Two of the new cases were reported in the Olympic Village in Tokyo, one of which was identified as an athlete, organizers said. Another athlete also tested positive but was not a resident of the Olympic Village.

The US Olympic Committee said a US Olympic athlete tested positive for Covid-19 in Tokyo. The committee did not disclose the identity of the athlete.

Athletes battle “brutal” weather conditions: World tennis number 1 Novak Djokovic called the humidity “brutal” after beating Bolivian Hugo Dellien in the first round of the men’s singles, while Russian tennis star Daniil Medvedev used a portable air conditioner to refresh. CNN’s weather team said on Saturday that temperatures had climbed to nearly 34 ° C (93 ° F) in the greater Tokyo area, with “oppressive” humidity levels above 80%.
