Well, at this point your guess is as good as mine as to what the Bruins are doing because they’ve added another depth up front!

Foligno is an uncompromising player who has seen a drop in production in recent seasons, although he also had to deal with significant injuries and off-ice issues during this time:

Mainly left winger, Foligno has also played at center in the past.

He had a lot of suitors, but ultimately chose Boston:

It remains to be seen where this impact will be. The Bruins are set at 1LW and 2LW.

Considering the other depth players they’ve signed today, it’s hard to imagine where he will fit in.

Maybe 3LW if DeBrusk is distributed? Maybe on the fourth line?

Not clear. It’s not that Foligno is a bad player, it’s more that the B’s seem to have signed a whole bunch of guys deep today without having a whole bunch of roster spots.

This, of course, increases the likelihood of some sort of trade (DeBrusk + something for a defender?), But who can tell for sure?

Anyway, welcome to Boston! I’m sure they’ll find a place for you somewhere.
