Adult film star Dahlia Sky has died aged 31 in ‘potential suicide’.

The artist was found dead in a vehicle in the Devonshire area of the San Fernando Valley around 8 p.m. on June 30.

Los Angeles Police Department Detective Dave Peteque said Sky was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound and officers were awaiting autopsy results from the LA County Medical Examiner and Coroner’s office.

The case is being investigated as a potential suicide, with Peteque saying a cause of suicide is “what the investigation is looking into, and there is no evidence at this time that he there is a criminal act ”.

Sky’s death came a month before his 32nd birthday.

According to friends, Sky was suffering from depression after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, which had metastasized and was in stage four.

JHP Films owner Hans, who produced the actress’ 2020 film Always Dahlia Sky, told AVN: “During her last year, I’ve spoken to her about life a few times. It was not an easy race for her. It will take a long time to overcome, if it is even possible. Dahlia Sky, beautiful soul, funny, complicated and warm friend! I will miss you so much.

Director Axel Braun added to the post: “She was super funny and she had a big heart, but unfortunately her battle with breast cancer took a toll on her mental health and she battled with depression, such as Most people would. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones, we have lost a beautiful soul.

Pornstar Stormy Daniels tweeted: “I had the opportunity to direct many talented artists during my time with Wicked. Dahlia Sky was one of my absolute favorites. She was also a friend. I am heartbroken to learn of his passing. This is the third death of which I have learned in the last 24 hours. Life is so fragile.

Sky first entered the adult film industry in 2010 as Bailey Blue, and immediately became a hit, being nominated for Female Performer of the Year at the AVN Awards.

She racked up around 600 credits over her decade in the business and was last showcased in 2020.

In 2014, she changed her name from Bailey Blue to Dahlia Sky due to a dispute with a clothing company that had filed for that name.
