On Friday, July 30, the Detroit-based artist posted a video of him sharing a moment with his child on IG. In the clip, Dugg licks the young boy’s neck before kissing him on the shoulders and neck. Some people had a problem with the video. “Why did he put his tongue like that over her neck?” It made me feel very uncomfortable, ”one person commented on the clip.
“I understand you show love to your kids, but he just let go of his neck,” someone else wrote.
In response to the outcry over the video, Dugg took to Instagram and posted a lengthy post with his thoughts on homosexuality. “Nobody goes for that fucking gay hoe, that’s crap at all,” he began. ” You all [quick] to get some gay bitch ass shit but when a nigga jump on one of them you hoe niggas and call somebody, we’re homophobic. Nobody cares about this shit. You don’t [know] we. We, the artists, that’s all. We are not here to coach you in life. If I say I’m not with that gay shit, this is where you should leave some. “
He continued, ‘Stop trying to push that shit down niggas throats. Ah gay man ah being on national tv talking to another hoe dude, but it’s still okay. All of you or no motherfucker on earth don’t make me like shit and if you don’t like me go with me. Keep my son away, speechless. “
He accentuated the message with the line “Suck my dick, you gay bitches. “
Dugg’s rant follows DaBaby being the center of attention for the homophobic comments he made during his performance at the Rolling Loud Miami Festival 2021. While TI and Boosie BadAzz have come to DaBaby’s defense , many other people called the rapper from North Carolina, including Questlove and Madonna. DaBaby was reportedly recently removed from the lineup for the upcoming 2021 Parklife festival in the UK due to his comments.
