WWE SmackDown audience sees a boost with historic main event – .

The latest nightly odds numbers are available for WWE Friday Night SmackDown. This week’s episode once again saw the staple of network television return with less than 2 million viewers despite an increase in viewership and a landmark episode.

According to SpoilerTV, this week’s WWE SmackDown audience returned with 1.926 million viewers, up from 1.853 million viewers last week. When it comes to demographics, the 18-49 demographics, this week’s 0.5 rating saw SmackDown take the top spot.

This week, WWE hosted the first Hell in a Cell match in an episode of SmackDown. Roman Reigns and Rey Mysterio decided not to wait for the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view and they had their WWE Universal Championship fight at Smackdown where Roman Reigns once again to Sarah his dominance against a very game Rey Mysterio, making the former WWE heavyweight world champion tap with a tie guillotine.

Elsewhere, Bianca Belair and Bayley have agreed that they will take their rivalry to new levels inside the Hell in a Cell structure on Sunday, June 20. Additionally, it has been confirmed that Kevin Owens will take on Sami Zayn and Cesaro will once again take on Seth Rollins at WWE Hell in a Cell as well.
