The official trailer for Amazon’s upcoming Prime drama series Nine Perfect Strangers is finally here.
Starring Nicole Kidman and Melissa McCarthy, the eight-part series is based on the New York Times bestselling book by Australian author Liane Moriarty.
It’s produced by the teams behind Big Little Lies and The Undoing, and will be available exclusively to Prime members worldwide, excluding the United States and China, on August 20.

According to Amazon, ‘Nine Perfect Strangers takes place in a health and wellness resort that promises healing and transformation.
“Nine stressed city dwellers are trying to embark on the path of a better way of life.
“Resort manager Masha (played by Kidman) watches over them during this ten-day retreat, a woman on a mission to invigorate their tired mind and body,” the press release continued.

Nicole puts on one of the scariest performances of her career, while Melissa McCarthy looks almost unrecognizable in a dramatic turn.
The cast also includes Luke Evans, Tiffany Boone, Bobby Cannavale, Melvin Gregg, Regina Hall, Manny Jacinto, Asher Keddie, Michael Shannon, Grace Van Patten and Samara Weaving.

It was shot on location in Australia, with Nicole as executive producer.
Nine Perfect Strangers will be available to Amazon Prime members in Australia starting August 20.
