A teenager has died after being stabbed in the street, less than two hours after another stabbing in south London.

The victim was found on Prentis Road in Streatham around 4:15 p.m. and taken to hospital, where she was delivered 35 minutes later.

He had been seriously wounded with a stab in the chest.

In the previous incident, a man was stabbed “several times” on Cedars Road in Clapham at around 2:47 pm.

He was taken to hospital, where his injuries are not life threatening.

Two men fled the scene by car and soon after collided with another vehicle before escaping on foot, police said.

“Arrests have been made and an investigation is underway in the region. “
