Two cowbell heavyweights on WWE 205 Live were Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari and on Friday afternoon the two disappeared from the company. However, that doesn’t mean the two aren’t proud of the work they’ve done for the brand. Nese commented on his release yesterday, saying: “Thank you all! I don’t care how unsupervised and underrated 205 was. I broke my ass every time I stepped into the ring doing everything I was asked to do without asking any questions. I can’t wait to be that type of employee for someone else.

Daivari, who was Nese’s partner for a while on the brand, went on to say, “I really liked what Tony Nese and I were doing as a team on 205. Each time we worked as hard as we could, despite the fact that the show is not very positioned. This is what professionals do. And that’s what we will continue to do!

Adam Pearce, gave Nese his best wishes and showed his love for the 205 brand. “I have always appreciated it – and you – very much,” Pearce tweeted. Nese then noted how inaccurate the role Adam played in making this show was.

“This man right here was 205’s godfather,” Nese said of Pearce. “One of the few who fought for us and made us work hard every day, no matter what. I’m pretty sure he hated me at first, but I think we’re cool now.
