The Real Madrid captain will hold a press conference on Thursday to officially announce his exit.
A short statement on the official Real Madrid website read: “Real Madrid CF announces that tomorrow, Thursday June 17, at 12:30 pm, there will be an institutional act of tribute and farewell to our captain Sergio Ramos, with the presence of our president Florentino Perez.
“Next, Sergio Ramos will appear in front of the media at a telematic press conference. “
Ramos has made 671 appearances in 16 seasons at the Bernabeu, but his relationship with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is at an all-time low.

Ramos’ contract is set to be renewed, but Perez has repeatedly suggested that Madrid would struggle to tie the center-back to a new deal.
Real Madrid are not in a strong financial position but still want to strengthen this summer, with Kylian Mbappe at the top of their wishlist.
Ramos earns £ 312,000 a week which makes him one of the club’s best earners.
Perez said last month: “We are in a very difficult situation where no one has money.
“We have to be realistic. I never said he wouldn’t stay. At the moment we are finishing this season and after that we can see for next year. “
Despite this, Madrid had no problem signing former Bayern Munich star David Alaba and offering him an exceptional contract.
And it looks like it rubbed Ramos the wrong way, with the club legend leaving under a dark cloud.
Ramos will not be short of suitors, however, even though he is now 35.
The defender has been linked with a move to Manchester United in recent months, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would surely be all too willing to take a punt on the center-back.
