The 36-year-old actress chatted with Jess Cagle for an upcoming episode of SiriusXM Jess Cagle’s podcast with Julia Cunningham.
“I was very close to Chris for a long time. With the first time we worked together we made a movie called The perfect score when I was 17. Chris I think I was 18 or 19. And we were in Vancouver for, you know, many months, ” Scarlett has begun.

Scarlett continued, “And it was like the closest thing I’ve ever had to loving a college experience because, you know, we were a bunch of us there, uh, just sort of staying in the same hotel and working and going out and, you know, that was, that was a lot of fun.
“I then had the opportunity to work with Chris again on Nanny diaries. And, I, you know, I just think Chris and I laugh so much together. You … find a lot of humor in ironic things. And I, you know, we, we just, we just have a great friendship, ”she said.
Scarlett then talked about how his friendship with Chris reflects the friendship of Natasha Romanoff and Steve Rogers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
She said: “And I think much like Steve and Nat, we spend a lot of time talking about relationships. We spend a lot of time talking about our families, about each other’s relationships, like all that, you know, we could talk for hours, and all kinds of things. And, I think in a way of the kind of big sister relationship Nat sometimes has with Steve, I think we, even though Chris is a few years older than me, but I think we kind of have the same dynamic, you know, and it’s, yeah, it’s just, now that we’re talking about it, that all of my friendships are reflected in the Avengers universe, which is so funny. But, yeah, I mean, I think that’s how we are as actors, right? You bring it to work, you know, and, you know, in this case, we were so lucky because we all love each other so much and we’re like this weird dysfunctional family.
