Nintendo Official Site Reveals Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope, Coming In 2022 – –

Update (Saturday June 12, 2021 at 12:35 BST): It looks like Ubisoft’s Switch exclusive has been revealed earlier than expected, and as they say, it’s a sequel to the 2017 title. Mario + The Battle of the Rabbids Kingdom.

Nintendo’s website is the source of the information – revealing that the game will be officially known as Mario + Rabbids sparks of hope. According to the description, it will be released next year in 2022 and the number of players is yet to be determined.

Here are some screenshots and some more information on what to expect:

– Build your dream team with three heroes from an eclectic roster of nine.
– Take down all new bosses, as well as a few familiar enemies across the galaxy.
– Save the adorable Sparks across the galaxy, who provide distinct powers that will aid you in battle.
– Unleash the skills of your heroes but be strategic when rushing at your enemies, team up on your allies and hide behind covers.

Original story (Fri 11 Jun 2021 11:00 BST): Well, it’s the E3 season, and the reality is that companies really struggle to keep secrets this time of year. A rumored title appears to have slipped out of the vault just under two days in advance, leading us back to a rather dramatic Switch rumor of at the time.

[Note: we’ve been deliberately obtuse with the headline and lead image so that people just browsing the site or social media aren’t spoiled. This approach is very much case-by-case, it’s just the call we made this time around.]

When Mario + The Battle of the Rabbids Kingdom the leak caused perplexity, then Ubisoft’s E3 event shocked the public and many of us got excited about the tactical shooter. It’s a great game, and now “PracticalBrush12”, a leaker with an impressive track record – recently including Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl – has hit it again and listed “ Mario + Rabbids sparks of hope ‘.

Ubisoft Forward will tell you all about it soon, of course – it’s June 12 at 12 p.m. Pacific / 3 p.m. Eastern / 8 p.m. UK / 9 p.m. CEST. A sequel certainly makes sense – the first was well received and saw strong sales, while there was a feeling the development team was extremely passionate about the concept and the PIs involved.

We recommend that you only follow the Reddit source link if you want to be potentially spoiled; the strong leaker story and the dizzying expanse of the roster are something to see. Time will tell how accurate this leak really is.

Are you excited to see a sequel to Mario + Raving Rabbids?
