The Apple TV + series Ted Lasso is back for a second season – and a brand new trailer has been released.
Jason Sudeikis plays the titular American football coach, with the second season seeing him attempt to overthrow his side’s prospects AFC Richmond after their relegation from the Premier League.
New scenes see Ted trying to train the team’s continued streak of draws after being relegated from the top flight before resorting to desperate measures by showcasing his rude alter ego.

He told reporters, “I’ve never been embarrassed to have streaks in my prints – it’s part of the growth! proving that the comedy is as strong as it was in the first season.
But after seeing his team relegated at the end of the first season, Ted decides he must resort to desperate measures in bringing out his fierce alter-ego – Led Tasso.
Storming the pitch, “Led” flips the beverage table over before yelling at the team to touch their toes and label them “turd-birds.”
It remains to be seen whether Ted (or Led) will be able to reverse his side’s outlook and bring the club’s promotion back to the Premier League.

Sudeikis won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series after the first season.
He also won the Golden Globe for Best Comedy Actor and Best Actor at the Critics Choice Awards.
Celebrities like Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Phil Dunster and Nick Mohammed will return, and Sarah Niles joins the cast for season two as sports psychologist Sharon.
Apple TV Plus renewed the critically acclaimed series in August, just two days before its debut, while also revealing the Season 2 debut on July 23.
Football legend Gary Lineker is reportedly featured in the new season.
The former England star, 60, is said to be set to form fictional AFC Richmond and has filmed material for the second season alongside his Match Of The Day co-host Ian Wright.
An inside source told The Sun: “When Gary was approached to be a part of the show, he absolutely jumped at the chance.
“As far as TV goes, Gary is an old man, so he didn’t need a lot of advice that day. Everyone who worked on the show told him it was completely natural.
Gary will appear in the show’s next series in a scene where Ted’s assistant Coach Beard, played by Brendan Hunt, imagines he’s out for a night on the Capital Tiles. ”
This isn’t Gary’s first on-screen appearance, he previously appeared on An Evening with Gary Lineker, which followed a couple abroad to the 1990 World Cup.
