NBA 2021 playoffs: Giannis Antetokounmpo leaves Game 4 with a left knee injury

The Milwaukee Bucks suffered a heavy blow in Game 4, with superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo suffering a left knee injury.

Competing for a ball near the rim with Hawks center Clint Capela, Antetokounmpo landed on his left leg, appearing to be suffering from a significant hyperextension of the knee.

The two-time MVP remained on the ground for several minutes holding his knee before being helped to return to the locker room. The team later ruled him out for the remainder of Game 4.

He briefly returned to the bench with a notable limp, before returning to the locker room once again.

Antetokounmpo was on the injury report with a left calf problem, but was eventually cleared to play. He had 14 points, eight rebounds and three assists in 24 minutes before the injury occurred.

More updates to come.
