The woman’s car was parked in the Matalan car park in Leeds on Tuesday morning when the note was left in the doorknob, BirminghamLive reports.
In the note posted on Facebook, the stranger wrote: “You have beautiful children! Thanks for making me smile today from my car. “
The stranger then added, “Mum to mum – you do a fabulous job !! “
The note was signed “Sarah” with a kiss and was widely shared.

On Facebook, the recipient shared it and said, “If you were to see a note on your car on your way back from a store, you would automatically assume the worst… right ?!
“Well, I immediately thought, ‘oh my god, what is this?
“Then I read the note… and wow! I immediately started to cry but held back my tears of joy so my beautiful children wouldn’t see! “
One reader replied, “This is so considerate of this lady. I bet it made Moms Day. I like to be told that I have beautiful children. “
