MUST kick off Man Utd action plan after Joel Glazer pledge
The Manchester United Supporters Trust (MUST) has launched a new campaign to kick off the process for fans to become supporter shareholders following a pledge from Joel Glazer at the recent fan forum.
The ‘Sign for United’ campaign allows United fans to register their commitment to become a club supporter shareholder as part of a new supporter shareholder program promised by current owners in response to requests from MUST and ‘other supporters.
United fans staged unprecedented protests by invading Old Trafford pitch after the club’s involvement in the botched European Super League, which forced their Premier League clash with Liverpool to be postponed.
In response, Glazer broke his long silence to apologize and promised to speak directly to fans. That’s exactly what he did at the recent Fan Forum, confirming that a fan-sharing program would be established.
MUST have started this process with an online campaign, and an important name in the club’s history is the first signatory – Eric Cantona, who said: « Yes, my friends, I signed for United again.
