Elle-HulkBad Place’s new enemy: Jameela Jamil (The right place) signed on to play villainous Titania in Disney + ‘s upcoming Marvel series, according to our sister site Variety.
Emmy winner Tatiana Maslany (Black orphan) stars as the titular superhero, aka Jennifer Walters, a cousin of Bruce Banner who is a savvy lawyer – and who possesses some of his cousin’s superpowers, thanks to an emergency blood transfusion. Jamil will play Titania, “a Marvel villain with incredible strength and a frequent rival to She-Hulk,” according to the report.
Jamil joins a cast that includes not only Maslany but Renée Elise Goldsberry (Girls5eva, Hamilton) like Amelia and Ginger Gonzaga (I’m dying here) as Jennifer’s best friend. Additionally, Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role as The Hulk, while Tim Roth will return as his Pontoon character from The Abomination.
Best known for playing the recently deceased snob Tahani in NBC’s afterlife comedy The right place, which concluded a four-season series last year, Jamil is now hosting the TBS game show The misery index.
