Jalen Rose came under fire on Thursday after broadcaster ESPN said Kevin Love’s appearance on Team USA’s Olympic roster was some form of “symbol.”
Rose made the comments on her “Jalen & Jacoby” show. ESPN reported that the roster has been finalized with Love joining the team for the second time in his career. USA Basketball has yet to make an official final list announcement.

Rose said Love was on the team “because of the symbolism.”
