Deborah Meaden told fans she broke her wrist after suffering a horseback riding accident on Friday.
The 62-year-old Dragons’ Den star was rushed into A&E last night, explaining that she injured herself while trying to get on a horse.

The businesswoman felt very grateful to the NHS as staff at Taunton Musgrove hospital tended to her as she underwent several x-rays before having her wrist put in a cast.

She posted a photo of herself holding her fractured wrist on Instagram, writing: “Thanks to brilliant A’s and E’s #tauntonmusgrovehospital. Each of you is so caring, careful and very reassuring.

“We must never stop appreciating our amazing #nhs. There, when you need it, load me up, my new cast and the adorable @ becky00117 and @lowri_harding x. “

She then added on Twitter: “I know you know this, but our #NHS is booming.

“I had a broken wrist. several radios, manipulation under analgesics with a reassuring voice in my ear and I leave with plaster and recovering wrist. Here with Becky and @ Lowri_punc19 mercixxx. “

Deborah fans remained concerned after the crash, with many rushing to the comments section.
