Covid: the anti-vaxxer who snubbed the jab is hospitalized because of the virus “It’s not a joke! “| United Kingdom

Abderrahmane Fadil, 60, was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI) “breathless” and needed life-saving treatment when he tested positive for Covid after refusing the vaccine. Mr Fadil, who lives in Bradford with his wife and two young sons, nine-year-old Rayan and seven-year-old Aryan, said his little boys cried every day when he was not feeling well and despite his efforts to reassure them, he was not sure himself if he would make it survive.

Mr Fadil was offered the jab in February when people aged 60 and over were called in. However, he said he was hesitant to get the jab because he was “so good” at the time and “never really believed he would get Covid.”
After spending nine days in a Covid ward, Mr Fadil urges others to get the jab.

Respiratory consultant Tanveer Khalid, a member of Mr. Fadil’s care team, said: “Mr. Fadil has been very lucky. He was in terrible pain when he was admitted and needed life-saving Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy.
“The majority of the very sick Covid patients we have in our wards are here because they refused the vaccine.

“It proves that vaccines work. I appeal to everyone; anyone over 18 can now receive the jab. Please go get it. It could save your life.
