It was then that local cops say she shot her friend, Police Commissioner Henry Jemmott in the neck, who died instantly and fell into the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea.

The two friends had been drinking on the quay.

A bloody Hartin was arrested at the scene and charged with negligent manslaughter, stoking a nest of hornets around the world.

On the video she provided to the outlet, Hartin is stunned that staff who know her won’t let her see her children.

She said to them: “Whoa! So Andrew asked you to keep me from seeing my kids, is that correct? I don’t want, I don’t even want. I won’t do that to my kids, that’s how much I love them, I don’t want them to see this.

Accompanying the socialite in distress is a woman believed to be her mother.

“He’s going to rot in hell for that! As if I hadn’t endured enough!” As if I weren’t crossing enough! Hartin is heard screaming.

“Why are you preventing me from being home and seeing my children Andrew?” Don’t want to be in front of the camera? Why are you hiding my children Andrew from me? You lied to my whole family. Let me see my children.

Andrew responds, “Stop, stop. “

And then he runs away in fear.

What seems clear is that Jasmine Hartin probably shouldn’t expect any comfort or help from billionaire Ashcrofts.

In fact, they can do whatever they can to get her kicked out of the country – and away from her children.

This is how the rich work. It has outlived its usefulness.

Hartin herself told the cops that Jemmott was a close friend and that the shooting was an accident.

If investigators did not believe her, she would face a murder charge when she appears in court again on August 12.

In the meantime, Hartin is persona non grata and a despised woman in tropical paradise.

As for his common-law partner – as the Ashcroft flacks find it hard to explain – he reminds me of one of the rich boys from the Titanic, dressing as a maid.

Nothing that women and children initially absurd for this chivalrous toff.
