It sucks and I’m scared, and at the same time I’m lucky to have amazing doctors, family and friends to help me get through this ”, Hoppus tweeted. “I still have months of treatment ahead of me but I try to stay hopeful and positive. I look forward to being cancer free and seeing you all at a concert in the near future.
The Blink-182 frontman, 49, did not disclose the type of cancer he is battling, but said he has already been undergoing chemotherapy treatments for three months.
Hoppus too shared a photo on her Instagram story which read, ” Yes hello. Cancer treatment, please.

Longtime drummer Travis Barker shared a photo of the two kissing on his Instagram story. Barker later said IS! New, “Mark is my brother and I love and support him. I’ll be with him every step of the way on and off stage and can’t wait for us to play together again soon. “
In response to the news, Hoppus’ former and current bandmates, fellow musicians, and a host of celebrities and fans have expressed their support for him.
