“Everyone must be silent. “
In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Billie Eilish understood how little the public knows about her.
In particular, Billie has expressed unease when members of the public describe things as being like her – such as when a competitor on Course de dragsters de RuPaul she was told her song was “very Billie Eilish”.
“What do they think when they think that? Do they mean what the internet thinks, what is whispers or whatever the fuck people say? She remarked. Like, I really don’t share shit. I have such a strong personality that people feel like they know everything about me and literally don’t know it at all.
Billie wishes she could share more, but she has a new perspective now that she’s famous herself. “It’s sad because I can’t give the fans everything they want,” she continued. “The more I get bigger, the more I understand why [my favorite celebrities] couldn’t do everything I wanted them to do.
“I wish I could tell the fans everything I think and feel and it wouldn’t live on the internet forever. And talk about it and call it problematic, or call it what everyone wants to call any thought of a human. “
In particular, Billie is reluctant to share parts of her love life. The closest look we had on her relationship was in her documentary, The world is a little blurry, who portrayed her ex, Brandon Adams. “I don’t like to share this part of my life, and I never intended to share this part of my life,” she added.
However, the relationship met with some backlash – mainly because Brandon was in his early twenties when he dated the teenager, and many have speculated that his song “Your Power” was about him. “Everyone has to shut up,” Billie said, explaining that the doc “was a little bit microscopic about this relationship. Nobody knows any of this, at all. I just wish people could stop and see things and not have to say things all the time.
