She regularly shares opulent photoshoots when she launches stunning new outfits.

But Beyoncé went in the opposite direction on Sunday when she celebrated the fourth birthday of her twins Rumi and Sir with a modest banner on her website.

“What’s better than a gift … 2,” the 39-year-old pop icon wrote in a black and white banner on her website.

“Happy Birthday Rumi & Sir,” she added below in larger text.

She’s no stranger to wishing her friends and inspirational personalities a happy birthday, although she chose not to include a photo of the young children in this case.

The low-key display is part of a model for the singer, who has been more deprived of her twins than her eldest daughter Blue Ivy, who turned nine in January.

Blue has been a regular at basketball games and awards shows with Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z, 51, though the younger ones usually stay home for these outings.

In 2018, Beyoncé spoke to Vogue about the evolution of her figure and the physical changes that followed her second pregnancy.

She shared that she weighed up to 218 pounds at the time of delivery and that her health had been compromised due to toxemia, which necessitated an emergency Cesarean section.

“I was in survival mode and only figured it out months later,” she said of the traumatic ordeal.

“After the Caesarean section, my heart felt different. It was a major surgical operation. Some of your organs are temporarily moved and, in rare cases, temporarily removed during childbirth. I’m not sure everyone understands this. I needed time to heal, to recover, ”she continued.

“My body went through more than I thought it would,” the singer said of the pregnancy in her 2019 documentary Homecoming.

Pregnancy gave the hitmaker a fuller figure, but she was in no rush to lose weight.

“By now, my arms, shoulders, breasts and thighs are fuller. I have a little mom’s pouch and I’m in no rush to get rid of it, ”she admitted.

She contrasted her more zen approach to following the birth of Blue Ivy, who saw her launch a short tour to get back in shape and perform while she was still breastfeeding.

In the fall of 2017, Jay revealed to the Rap Radar podcast how he and Beyoncé chose the instantly iconic names for their twins.

“Rumi is our favorite poet, so it was for our daughter,” he explained. “Sir was like, man, go out the door.” It is worn like this. He just came out, like, sir.
