Manchester United have decided to send former Villa defender Axel Tuanzebe on loan in the summer transfer window.

Tuanzebe remains a popular player with Villa supporters having been a key member of the championship winning team in 2018/19.

Sarr breaks his silence in the midst of Villa’s bonds

Pope Matar Sarr is fully focused on improving Metz’s fortunes next season amid speculation linking him to Villa.

Sarr, 18, is set to move to the Premier League this summer after a superb breakthrough season in France with Ligue 1 side Metz.

Considered one of France’s brightest young talents, Sarr made a huge impact for midfielder Metz after making his senior curtsy in November 2020.

According to the Daily Mail, Villa is keen on making him part of Smith’s squad while Chelsea, Everton and Newcastle United are also showing interest in the teenager.

The Senegalese international was asked about his future by French newspaper L’Equipe and outlined his ambitions for next season.

“At FC Metz, our first objective is to keep the team in Ligue 1,” said Sarr. “But winning trophies with them is also part of my ambitions for next season. I want to have a better season than in 2020/21 [campaign] and if possible, score more goals.

Neville sent comments to Grealish after England post

Jack Wilshere has questioned Gary Neville’s decision to let Jack Grealish out of his favorite England team to face Germany.

Germany snatched a late equalizer against Hungary to seal qualification for the round of 16 and staged a tantalizing clash with England at Wembley.

Grealish made his debut start at Euro 2020 as the Three Lions beat the Czech Republic on Tuesday to finish top of the group.

Gareth Southgate cut and changed staff, but the England boss apparently went for a 4-2-3-1 system after flirting with a back three before the tournament started.

Grealish was an unused substitute for England’s first Euro game against Croatia before being introduced to the bench against Scotland.

With England struggling to beat Scotland, Southgate threw Villa captain against the Czech Republic and he responded with a header from Raheem Sterling in the 1-0 win.

Villa Smith Rowe’s offer shocks expert

Villa’s ambitious attempt to snatch Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal has surprised former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson.

Villal submitted a £ 25million offer for Smith Rowe last week as part of the club’s plans to strengthen the squad for next season.

The club are keen to use the transfer window to ease Jack Grealish’s creative burden and broke his transfer record to sign Emi Buendia – who was also a target for Arsenal – earlier this month.

Arsenal have turned down Villa’s advances and remain keen to tie the England Under-21 international with a new long-term contract in the Emirates.

He was one of the few achievements in an indifferent season for the Gunners, scoring four goals and eight assists in 33 appearances for Mikel Arteta’s side.

Arsenal view the 20-year-old as a key player for years to come and Robinson believes they can’t afford to lose him. He told Football Insider: “I can’t see it happening, but wow, what a display of intention from Villa. This is a very cheeky offer.
