“Oh, man, she’s jet lagged by the time in LA I started exercising. I used to overdo everything, like real excess. Like I would, I’d go to a restaurant and be like, “Oh, I like the look of that. And like the look of that. And like, I’m just gonna, I’m gonna eat it all. ”
“I loved drinking everything in sight and everything in between. And I just found out when Cherry was six months pregnant, I was like, at that point, the water could break anytime and I’m just going to stop the excess and just be available and be the husband that I. am meant to be.
“And yes, and from there it’s kind of like a clean, healthy life. “

“So now, like I haven’t actually changed my diet in any way other than just stopping the binge.” Like I still have beer, but I won’t have 10 pints. I’ll have three and I still have burgers, but I won’t have two, I will have one.
Ed also admitted he reached out to U2 icon Bono for parenting advice and how he could balance his career and family after learning his wife Cherry was pregnant.

“And I was like, he’s the only guy I feel like I have… I could relate to.” Yes. So I got in touch and then we had a three hour conversation and he’s the nicest guy. And we just… And I never really bonded with him like that. And I don’t think I probably would have ever done it, but there was just that …
“I don’t know what prompted him to take the call, but we kind of had this conversation and he was telling me about how he sailed as a dad, like where his kids went to school and how they did tours and stuff like that. ‘
Explaining further how his life has changed since leaving London with Cherry, Ed said she taught him how to make a Sunday roast.
He said: “I never really had Sunday roast because it wasn’t really something I grew up with, but it’s something that she grew up with and she taught me. to make a good roast chicken …
“Cutting potatoes, making good roasted potatoes and like doing that every Sunday, getting into the routine of that, having a date every Friday, like it’s just… It’s healthy, Well. ”
