The Three-13 member was shot dead as he opened the door for members of a rival MC group in Bogalusa, Louisiana.
It is reported that Michael, from the nearby town of Kentwood, went into hiding after receiving death threats from the rival group, but was found and killed on June 7.
It is believed he was staying with a relative of his girlfriend.
Two members of the group The Fours were arrested following a high-speed chase.
The Bogalusa Police Department told reporters: “There were other people present in the apartment, including a 7-year-old who was in the same room as Brock during the hail of gunfire. The child miraculously was not touched.
Tauj Taplin, 19, reportedly opened fire on Michael at point blank range with an AR-15 after responding to a knock on his door at the Sunset Acres Housing Complex.
Michael was shot several times before the assailant jumped into a getaway car believed to be driven by Quardavion White, also 19, police said.
The two men are believed to have gang connections.
The shooting suspects were arrested three days after the incident.
Police were able to identify the suspected gunman and his fleeing driver using surveillance footage and police intelligence.
Tauj had been identified as the alleged shooter and Quardavion as the alleged driver of the escape after police reviewed the surveillance video and testimony.
They were arrested by police three days later in Texas, when Quardavion allegedly gave a false name and told his accomplice to flee.
A high-speed chase then ensued, which Texan police were forced to call down for fear innocent civilians would be injured.
Tauj is said to have attempted to smash several gasoline-powered cars before he was eventually arrested on his way back to Louisiana.
According to CBS affiliate 4WWL, they were both charged with the fatal shooting.
Bogalusa Miller Police Captain said: “Now you have a 19 year old young man who will never live his life and two other 19 year old men who could very well spend their lives in prison.
“What did that solve? It didn’t solve anything.
