Director Zack Snyder said the decision to recast the role of Elia was “fairly easy,” although his wife, producer Deborah Snyder, admitted it was cher a. The millions spent by Netflix were used for D’Elia’s digital erasure of the footage, as well as covers with Notaro last September and visual effects that would integrate him seamlessly into scenes, in front of his co-stars.
