WWE SmackDown’s WrestleMania Backlash go-home edition on Friday, featuring the final pay-per-view version with Cesaro vs. Jimmy Uso in the main event, averaged 1.917 million viewers on FOX, according to @SportsTVRatings.

That final figure is up 6.5% from the number of night viewers broadcast on Saturday morning, which averaged 1.80 million viewers. That number is down 16% from last week’s SmackDown final audience of 2.282 million viewers for the Throwback episode SmackDown.

On Friday, SmackDown scored 0.44 in the 18-49 Key Demographics, but we don’t have data for the 25-54 and 18-34 demos. Last week’s Throwback SmackDown scored 0.65 in the 18-49 Key Demo, 0.76 in the 25-54 Demo, and 0.43 in the 18-34 Demo.

On Friday, SmackDown drew the show’s second smallest audience this year, behind the February 12 episode, which aired during the week of impeachment hearings. On Friday, SmackDown also had the lowest 18-49 Key Demo Rating for SmackDown on FOX since the July 3, 2020 episode.

Friday’s SmackDown audience was down 16% from last week, while the key 18-49 demographic was down 32.3% from last week.

Friday’s SmackDown audience was down 6.1% from the same week in 2020, while the key demo rating was down 12% from the same week in 2020. It should be noted that the same week last year, WWE was tapping shows from the Performance Center without fans, at a time when all shows were in decline.
