He shared a flawless view of his gut and said he was in “the worst shape of my life” after gaining weight during the pandemic.

But Will Smith was ready to lose weight on Thursday when he shared a clip from his dramatic weight loss routine on Instagram.

The 52-year-old actor was working hard to lift weights in the short video, which he captioned, “The Pursuit of Happiness,” after his 2006 film of the same name.

Get in shape: Will Smith, 52, showed off his intense workout regimen in a new video posted to Instagram on Thursday. He said he was in “the worst shape of my life” in a previous article

The video opened with Will standing on a rotating pedestal and wearing nothing but black boxer shorts.

He wasn’t afraid to stick his guts out to emphasize the “front” part of his physical transformation.

“It’s so mean,” he shouted, interrupting the shot.

The clip was then cut into quick shots of him lifting weights, all to a soundtrack with explosive electronic beats.

The footage appeared to have been filmed over several training sessions, as Will had done on different sportswear.

He’s been shown in quick cuts lifting dumbbells and doing squats, as well as pull-downs.

The Gemini Man star seemed to focus more on his arms and torso than his lower body.

Despite all of his hard work, Will played a joke on his fans by ending with another photo of himself half-naked and pre-workout.

The new footage appears to be a preview of a longer video that he will share on YouTube after previously announcing it.
