This season has been miserable for Arsenal, but Kieran Tierney offers fans hope that there will be better times ahead.

No matter who you support, it’s impossible not to like the Scottish full-back. The guy still does his shopping at Tesco despite his salary of £ 75,000 per week!

Tierney played in the final half hour of Arsenal’s win over West Brom but the graft didn’t stop after the final whistle

But what really appreciated him with the fans was his unwavering commitment to the cause of Arsenal, whatever the time of day… and the weather.

Tierney only made an appearance in the Gunners’ win over West Brom on Sunday as he continues to recover from a knee injury, but he still made a big change even after the final whistle.

BT Sport expert Joe Cole has revealed Tierney spent a few minutes practicing his crosses during a warm-up on the grass at Emirates Stadium.

“Quick mention Tierney came in here after playing 30 minutes and he was practicing his crossing, you know,” Cole said.

Tierney is an example for all young players

“We are talking about the characters Arsenal need, a lot of Arsenal fans have called him to be captain of this club.

“Doing that when you come back from injury, it shows me that he has his finger on the pulse and this desire to move this club forward is a positive point.”

And few Arsenal fans would disagree with making Tierney their next captain.
