Can pubs open indoors?
Yes, hospitality venues such as pubs, cafes and restaurants will be allowed to serve customers indoors from step three, although some restrictions are still in place.

So after eating and drinking in the open since the Second Stage rules came into effect on April 12, there will be no need to check the weather forecast every time you visit the pub or restaurant from May 17.

What indoor attractions can open at the third stage?
Indoor entertainment and tourist attractions will also be allowed to reopen from stage three.
This includes museums and galleries, indoor and outdoor cinemas and theaters, concert halls, arcades and adult play centers, bowling alleys, and billiard and pool halls.
Valence House in Dagenham will reopen on Tuesday, May 18, with museum visits to be booked in advance, while the Museum of London Docklands at West India Quay next to Canary Wharf plans to open on Wednesday, May 19. .
Families will be delighted to know that attractions like trampolines and adventure parks, like Flip Out London E6 in East Ham, ice rinks, games and recreation areas and soft play centers will also reopen.
What else can we open from May 17 when the lockdown will be made easier?
Indoor events and remaining outdoor events, such as professional sports, trade events and live shows, will be allowed from the third stage. Participants will however be limited (more details below).
Places such as conference centers and exhibition halls may open.
People will be able to stay in vacation accommodations that are not yet open, including hotels, inns and guesthouses, as well as visit saunas and steam rooms, which are currently closed.
Indoor team sports for adults and group exercise classes in gyms will also return.
How many people can attend events?
Indoor events starting in Stage Three will be limited to 1,000 people or 50% of the venue capacity, whichever is less.
For outdoor events, the limit is 4,000 people or 50% of capacity, whichever is less.
Outdoor events at venues with a capacity of over 16,000 will be limited to a 25% cap, up to a maximum of 10,000 people.
How many households can mix from May 17?
As part of the third step, the government will seek to continue to relax the limits on dating friends and family to the extent possible.
Most legal restrictions on meeting other people outside will be lifted – although gatherings of more than 30 people remain illegal for now.
Indoors, the so-called “six-household rule” or two will apply, including in the home, but the government is keeping this under review.
Will social distancing still apply?
Yes. The government needs to update its advice on social contact with friends and family, including cuddling.
But until that point, people should continue to keep their distance from anyone outside of their household or the supportive bubble.
Before Stage Four begins, the government will also complete a comprehensive review of social distancing and other long-term measures that have been put in place to reduce the transmission of coronaviruses, such as wearing face masks.
How many people can attend a wedding from May 17th?
According to the rules of the third step, marriages and civil partnership ceremonies are allowed for a maximum of 30 people in the Covid secure places that are allowed to open. This is up from the 15 people currently authorized.
This limit will also apply to other types of significant life events, including bar mitzvahs and baptisms.
Depending on government guidelines, receptions can also take place with up to 30 people in a Covid-covered location or outside. This includes the private gardens.

The funeral can be attended by a maximum of 30 people, either indoors or outdoors.
This number does not include people working at the funeral.
