Walt Disney World Added park pass availability for ticket and resort customers, nothing added yet for annual pass holders – fr

During yesterday’s quarterly financial results conference call, CEO Bob Chapek said capacity is already being increased and will continue to be increased, due to relaxation of CDC guidelines. Now we are seeing these capacity changes reflected in the Park Pass reservation system.

During the remainder of May and most of June, all Walt Disney World theme parks are almost fully open for reservation for theme park tickets and Select Resort hotel guests. Memorial Day weekend and early summer were a hot time for travelers, and many of those dates were unavailable, and Hollywood Disney Studios passes had already been sold. restocked once before.

Unfortunately for annual pass holders, the increase in capacity does not appear to be affecting them at the time of publication. The other three weekends in May are completely unavailable, as they have been for some time. Weekdays have spotty availability, with Disney’s Hollywood Studios totally sold out and other parks having inconsistent availability.

While most of June is still open to annual pass holders, the three-pass limit means they tend to book on shorter notice while waiting for one of their slots to be booked. reservation is available. Proximity availability, especially on weekends, is most important for pass holders and has yet to be replenished despite catering to those same weekends by resort and ticket guests.
