Todd Frazier clashes with Mark Madden after Pirates release – fr

Todd Frazier’s departure from the Pirates was marked by a dangerous work-related clash with a Pittsburgh sports-talk host.

Frazier was nominated for an assignment on Monday, and the former Yankees and Mets third baseman quickly got into a social media row with local radio host Mark Madden.

“Hey, @ FlavaFraz21… happy [f–king] trails, you rub. DFA’d. Now GFY, “Madden tweeted, using Frazier’s Twitter handle and Internet slang to” go f – k yourself.

Frazier, 35, who has had just three hits in 35 batting (0.086) for the Pirates this season, took the bait and responded by mocking Madden’s weight.

“Funny that this slob, I mean the absolute slob, talks about s – t,” the New Jersey product’s quote tweeted. “Go get another hot dog. Please look at yourself in the mirror my God. You wouldn’t dare say that to my FLOUNDER face. love your nickname btw. This image tells it all. And to think that people take you seriously. GTFOH [Get the f–k outta here]. »

WARNING: GRAPHIC LANGUAGE

Madden, a 60-year-old sports conference host who does an afternoon show on local station 105.9 The X, retaliated by taking a photo of Frazier’s batting average.

“It’s a solid success. Rare for you ”, Madden tweeted. “I would gladly say it to your face. The Pirates could use the presence. Bat-shaming> fat-shaming. I was here before you arrived, and here after you left … and it didn’t take too much [f–king] long. Cut off by pirates. I had career lows. Not so low.
