Veteran avs forward Nazem Kadri is expected to get a suspension for his success on Faulk in the third period after being offered an in-person hearing. However, the Colorado forward Tyson Jost was not penalized or offered an audition for his elbow on Bortuzzo.

Bortuzzo suffered a concussion on January 15 after being hit by the Avalanche. Valery Nichushkin, another incident which did not result in a suspension.
“Robert has been in that position twice this year where he’s been hit in the head and missed out on time – and without repercussions,” Armstrong added. “Robert received no justice for two blows to the head that cost him time. “
Bortuzzo and Faulk will not play the third game on Friday night.
