Several flights to Kelowna among BC’s latest COVID exposure alerts; 26 in Vancouver – BC News – fr

The BC Center for Disease Control is warning airline passengers that they may have been exposed to COVID-19 on several recent flights from Vancouver – and several that have arrived or departed from Kelowna.

Since last week, 26 new flights have been added to the BCCDC’s list of affected flights:

  • May 4: Air Canada 241, from Edmonton to Vancouver (lines 31 to 36 affected)
  • May 11: Air Canada 314, from Vancouver to Montreal (affected lines 14-20)
  • May 11: Air Canada / Jazz 8563, from Smithers to Vancouver (lines 2 to 8 affected)
  • May 12: Air Canada 116, from Vancouver to Toronto (lines 12 to 14 affected)
  • May 12: Air Canada / Jazz 8415, from Kelowna to Vancouver (lines 12 to 18 affected)
  • May 13: Air Canada 119, from Toronto to Vancouver (lines 30 to 36 affected)
  • May 14: Air Canada 240, from Vancouver to Edmonton (lines 26 to 30 affected)
  • May 14: Delta 4476, Seattle to Vancouver (affected lines 3-9)
  • May 14: Air Canada 119, Toronto to Vancouver (affected lines 26-30)
  • May 15: Air Canada 119, from Toronto to Vancouver (lines 4 to 8 affected and not reported)
  • May 15: Air Canada / Jazz 8420, from Vancouver to Kelowna (lines 3 to 9 affected and not reported)

  • May 19: Air Canada 997, from Mexico City to Vancouver (lines 12 to 14 affected)
  • May 19: Air Canada 247, from Edmonton to Vancouver (lines 23 to 29 affected)
  • May 19: Air Canada / Jazz 8578, from Vancouver to Saskatoon (lines 15 to 21 affected)
  • May 20: Philippine Airlines 116, from Manila to Vancouver (affected lines 61 to 65)
  • May 20: Flair 8813, from Calgary to Vancouver (lines 8 to 14 affected)
  • May 21: WestJet 124, from Vancouver to Calgary (lines 17 to 23 affected)
  • May 21: AeroMexico 696, Mexico City to Vancouver (affected lines not reported)

There were also 11 flights identified for COVID-19 exposure that landed at airports other than YVR.

  • May 10: Canadian North 5T1500, Edmonton to Terrace (affected lines not reported)
  • May 11: Air Canada / Jazz 8401, from Calgary to Kelowna (lines 4 to 10 affected)
  • May 12: Air Canada / Jazz 8402, Kelowna to Calgary (affected lines not reported)
  • May 16: Swoop 108, Abbotsford to Hamilton (affected lines 13-19)
  • May 20: North Cariboo 2010, Fort St. John to Kelowna (affected lines not reported)
  • May 20: North Cariboo Air 2012, from Fort St. John to Nanaimo (lines 2 to 8 affected)
  • May 18: WestJet 3344, Kelowna to Calgary (lines 13 to 19 affected)
  • May 14: WestJet flight 3375, Calgary to Kelowna (lines 1 to 4 affected)
  • May 17: Air Canada / Jazz 8402, from Kelowna to Calgary (lines 5 to 11 affected)

All returning travelers to British Columbia are encouraged to check the public health agency’s website for updates on flights identified for risk of exposure.
