Two brands of the Royal Caribbean group announced Friday that they would restart in the Alaskan market this summer, making round-trip cruises from Seattle.

Royal Caribbean International will have two ships in Alaska this summer, while Celebrity Cruises will have one, according to reports on Friday.

Cruises will depart from Seattle on round-trip routes.

Details: The Serenade will begin its cruise in July. The weeklong itinerary includes a range of popular ports of call including Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan and Icy Strait Point, Alaska, as well as the breathtaking Endicott Arm Fjord and Dawes Glacier.

Navire: Ovation of the Seas

First cruise: August 13
Details: The Ovation follows suit in August, sailing to Glacier National Park, the Inside Passage and stopping in Juneau and Skagway.

Details: Celebrity will sail a seven-night round-trip itinerary program from Seattle on the Celebrity Summit, which was recently part of a revolutionary $ 500 million dry dock program.
