Ronnie Ortiz-Magro avoids felony charge in domestic violence case – fr

Police sources tell TMZ … the “Jersey Shore” star will NOT be charged with a felony in his latest arrest for domestic violence involving his girlfriend Saffire Matos, because the LA County District Attorney’s Office determined that he did not have sufficient evidence.

As a result, we’re told the case has been referred to the LA city attorney’s office … meaning if Ronnie is charged at all, it will only be a misdemeanor. That being said… Ronnie still has a very serious potential probation problem.

Ronnie’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, told TMZ, “If this report is true, as we have said from the beginning, the initial reports and unexamined charges are often and; in Ronnie’s case, wrong. We are happy that the prosecutor’s office has made this decision not to charge a felony. We will do it. await a decision from the county attorney’s office.

As we have reported… Ronnie is no stranger to domestic violence cases. It came on this road before with his ex, Jenn Harley. The got probation in this case … then this last arrest could end up with a judge hitting him with a violation of that probation.

As we told you … Saffire was the one who called the police when an argument allegedly turned physical, which led to Ronnie’s arrest. Saffire then took to social media to play down the allegations … telling fans not to believe the news about what had happened and that she and Ronnie were “okay.”
