The $ 515 million Mega Millions jackpot was won by a single ticket holder in Pennsylvania.
The winner will take home $ 348.6 million after tax if the winner chooses the highest cash option Pennsylvania has won since becoming a Mega Millions participant in 2010. The ticket was drawn at 22 59 hours Friday. The location in Pennsylvania has not been disclosed.
The award is the ninth largest since the inception of Mega Millions in 2002.
Friday’s numbers were 6, 9, 17, 18, 48 and the mega gold ball was 8. The odds of winning are 1 in 303 million for Mega Millions, according to Today.
The jackpot shot up because no one won it in Tuesday’s raffle – although there were some small prize winners.
Two Mega Millions jackpots have been won so far in 2021.

The year started off strong, with the jackpot surpassing $ 1 billion in January – and a winning ticket was subsequently sold in Michigan.
The biggest Mega Millions jackpot won on a single ticket was $ 1.537 billion in 2018. The game awarded 21 jackpots worth over $ 300 million.
The jackpot for the next draw will start at $ 20 million, $ 13.5 million in cash.

Friday night’s draw produced 1,702,748 winners of other Mega Millions prizes, including 10 ticket holders who won $ 30,000 each and 43 who each won $ 10,000 in prizes, lottery officials said.
