Paul Heyman says he wrote several film scripts, bought the rights from them – fr

During a recent appearance on WWE’s El Brunch for WWE Español, Paul Heyman commented on writing some movie scripts, buying back the rights to them, and more. You can check out some highlights from the interview below:
On writing film scripts: “I wrote scripts. One of my writing partners and I actually sold a script in 2005 or 2006, but we didn’t like the director they were going to choose for the film, so we bought the script. We sold it back in 2010-2011, around that time, and again we had some rights to repurchase the script and we did. I’m a control freak and like to do things a certain way and have a demand for a certain quality in the things that I’m associated with or don’t want to be involved with. I want things to go well. The best ever, the best you have ever seen. If that’s not it, I don’t want to be a part of it.

On joining Roman Reigns after Lesnar’s last run in WWE ended last year: “That’s why for Paul Heyman there was life after the race with Brock Lesnar. Because, if you think about what we’ve accomplished in our 18 years together, both in WWE and in the UFC, [and] writing a book, which was the best biography ever for a UFC or MMA fighter, my God, what else could I do in this industry. But then there was Roman Reigns. It is an opportunity coupled with something that can become the greatest of all time. So in terms of screenplays, yes I wrote them. No, I’m not just going to throw it to the highest bidder. Oh, I’m going to want some control so that I can make sure everything I’m presenting to the public is of the highest quality.
