No new deaths from Covid-19 recorded in hospitals in Greater Manchester – fr


Greater Manchester hospitals have not recorded any new deaths linked to Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, according to the latest data.
The latest figures from NHS England keep the death toll in hospitals in the region at 5,888.

The total name of related to coronavirus the deaths in the Greater Manchester Hospital Trusts on Sunday 2 May are:

  • Bolton NHS Foundation Trust – 648
  • Grand Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust – 9
  • Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust – 1183
  • NHS Nightingale Hospital North West – 6
  • Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust – 1596
  • Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust – 8
  • Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust – 501
  • Stockport NHS Foundation Trust – 560 (+1)
  • Tameside et Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust – 585 (+2)
  • Le Christie NHS Foundation Trust – 28
  • Wrightington, Wigan et Leigh NHS Foundation Trust – 764

Every day the NHS in England publishes the number of deaths recorded by each hospital trust in the past 24 hours.

These are deaths for which the person had tested positive for the virus or for which COVID-19 was mentioned on their death certificate.

NHS England daily figures sometimes include previously unrecounted deaths that occurred days or even weeks ago.

They do not include deaths in nursing homes or in community settings.
