Neymar smokes at the referee after taking the final suspension of the Coupe de France – fr

Paris Saint Germain narrowly beat Montpellier on penalties in the semi-final of the Coupe de France on Wednesday evening, but barely four minutes after being a late substitute, Neymar received a reservation that will see him miss the final.
Mauricio Pochettino preserved Neymar on the bench until the 86th minute, three minutes later Andy Delort had marked Montpellieris the second to carry the score 2-2 in the evening. The match went straight to penalties.

But before the penalty shoot-out and after just four minutes on the pitch, Neymar received a yellow card that excludes him from the final, which pissed off the 29-year-old, who took to Instagram after the game.

“I play five minutes, I make a foul and he gives me a yellow without even thinking about it,” wrote Neymar on Instagram with reference to the referee Jérémie Pignard.

“Thank you for suspending me for the final. I think it was personal. “

PSG will face fourth-place Monaco or Rumilly Vallieres, who will face each other on Thursday night in the other Coupe de France semi-final.

This campaign was disappointing for PSG overall, as they reached the Champions League semi-finals but saw Lille move them as pending Ligue 1 champions.
