NEW YORK (WABC) – Governor Andrew Cuomo on Wednesday announced that all New York State sites have the option to go to 100% capacity only for fully vaccinated people Some sites can be vaccinated at 50% and 50% unvaccinated, but Cuomo says that limits the site’s capacity.
The fully vaccinated sections allow people to sit next to each other. “It’s a nicer way to participate in the event,” Cuomo said.

The governor explained that the unvaccinated section has a seat or two empty between people, which limits the capacity of the place.

New York State has already allowed 50% vaccinated and 50% unvaccinated at venues. Arenas, stadiums, theaters, concert halls and other venues can choose to go at 100% capacity.

On May 17, Radio City Music Hall announced that it will open for the first time in over a year on Saturday, June 19, to host the Tribeca Film Festival’s closing night film in person and at 100 % of its capacity for fully immunized people.
