MSK says switching from IMPACT to NXT was ‘a no-brainer’ – fr

Speaking about the decision to leave IMPACT Wrestling for NXT, Nash Carter and Wes Lee, MSK, say they didn’t have to think too much about it.

Formerly known as Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier in IMPACT, Nash Carter and Wes Lee are the current NXT Tag Team Champions. Speaking about their decision to leave IMPACT with Digital Spy, where their former trio team partner Trey Miguel still works, MSK says they were grateful for the opportunities, but to them the decision was obvious.

Carter said, “When this opportunity arose, it was obvious. I always wanted to be a WWE Superstar. Lee added, “As our career progressed, that was the next step and it was right there in front of us and we just had to seize the opportunity.

“It’s created some amazing and amazing things since we made this choice. The pandemic definitely gave us time to re-evaluate a lot of things and we talked a lot, talked a lot about what we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it and it worked perfectly. “

WrestleZone will have live coverage from NXT starting tonight at 8 p.m. EST. MSK will face former NXT tag team champions Tyler Breeze and Fandango.
