Meghan Markle is heading to the left side when it comes to the mental well-being of her royal offspring.
The former “Suits” star and native of Los Angeles introduced her husband, Prince Harry, and son, Archie, to a list of New-Agey alternative healing techniques since they moved to California the year last, according to a report.
Markle is helping the 2-year-old – and her dogs – with the practice of Reiki, the Japanese energy healing discipline, in an attempt “to help them feel more balanced and relaxed,” a source told the Daily Mail.
As for her husband, the Duchess of Sussex introduced him to the process of “ancestral healing” to help manage “generations of genetic baggage”.

Markle reportedly learned of the treatment from his mother, Doria Ragland, who “attends weekly services at the Agapé International Spiritual Center,” the report said.
“Ancestral healing” is based on the premise that unhealed family legacies and traumas are nestled within each of us, and it takes active work and therapy to break free from generational trauma.
“Meghan said she and Harry came from a long line of pain and suffering, [with] generations of genetic baggage, and it’s now up to them to break the cycle once and for all, ”a source told the tabloid.
During his recent appearance on the Apple TV + mental health show, “The Me You Can’t See,” the 36-year-old prince told Oprah Winfrey that his father’s unhappy childhood, Prince Charles, made him had been transmitted.

The other therapy the couple are both avid supporters of is tapping therapy.
Harry was shown on the documentary undergoing the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Psychotherapy Technique, which he used to relieve his PTSD following his mother’s death. (EMDR also involves patting the patient’s shoulders.)
