McDonald’s launches BTS meal, its latest celebrity partnership with a merchandise line – fr


McDonald’s new celebrity collaboration has arrived.

The fast food chain has teamed up with K Pop sensation BTS for a meal that features the group’s favorite dishes at restaurants on Wednesday.

The meal includes a 10-Piece McNuggets Chicken, Medium Fries, Medium Coke and Sweet Chili Dip and Cajun Sauces – a first in the United States with South Korean-inspired recipes from McDonald’s.

“Seeing the passion and anticipation of our fans around the world since we announced BTS Meal has been amazing,” Morgan Flatley, head of marketing and digital customer experience at McDonald’s USA said in a statement.

The meal includes a 10-Piece McNuggets Chicken, Medium Fries, Medium Coke and Sweet Chili Dip and Cajun Sauces – a first in the United States with South Korean-inspired recipes from McDonald’s. (McDonalds).

The collaboration stems from McDonald’s recent partnerships with famous musicians. The chain teamed up with rapper Travis Scott last fall for a meal that included a quarter pound with cheese, fries and barbecue sauce. Fans loved it so much that the chain reported a shortage of ingredients in some of its staples.

McDonald’s followed up on the successful food partnership with its J Balvin Meal featuring the reggaeton star’s favorite foods like a Big Mac, Oreo McFlurry, and fries.

The channel continues to capitalize on its celebrity partnerships. It launches a line of BTS merchandise Wednesday night on the Weverse Shop app with tote bags, hoodies and purple bathrobes, among others. McDonald’s said it will also release a new commercial featuring the brand’s new single “Butter” a week after its release.
