Transfer News: Manchester United attacks Harry Kane as an alternative to Erling Haaland
According to the transfer news from Eurosport, Manchester United will turn their attention to Harry Kane, with Erling Haaland likely to be left behind. The Borussia Dortmund forward is expected to stay at the club, which could see United going after Kane.
It looked like Haaland was surely heading for the exit. But with Dortmund’s Champions League qualification secured for next season, there is a chance he will stay at Signal Iduna Park.
In a recent interview, the striker said he had a contract in Dortmund and would abide by it.
While he hasn’t explicitly ruled out a move, it seems unlikely he’ll be able to move within that transfer window. With United looking for a striker, it’s now reported that the club will have to look in another direction. That would mean going after their other transfer target, Harry Kane.
The 27-year-old has played wonderfully for Spurs for several seasons and is among the best forwards in world football.
However, for all his talents, Kane has yet to earn a single major honor in his career. With Spurs in limbo again, he seems to have decided to look for a new challenge elsewhere.

Manchester United have Edinson Cavani on their books for another season. But they could really do with another prolific goalscorer. For now, they might have to look at someone other than Haaland. In Harry Kane, they will have a very good alternative.
