List of potential COVID-19 exposures for May 7 – fr



Anyone who has visited or worked in any of the locations is advised to book a COVID-19 test, whether or not symptoms are present.

Nova Scotia Public Health announces potential exposure to COVID-19 at several locations in the central area. In addition to press releases, all notifications of potential exposure are listed here.
Anyone who has worked or visited the following locations on the specified dates and times should click here to book a COVID-19 test, whether or not they have symptoms. You can also call 811 if you do not have online access or if you have other symptoms that concern you.

If you don’t have any symptoms of COVID-19, you don’t need to self-isolate while you wait for your test result. If you have symptoms of COVID-19, you should self-isolate while waiting for your test result, just like other members of your household.

  • RedChillies Bazaar (936 Bedford Hwy, Unit 108, Bedford) on May 19 between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the dates indicated may develop symptoms until June 2 inclusive.
  • Walmart (141 Damascus Road, Bedford) on May 21 between 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the dates indicated may develop symptoms until June 4 inclusive.
  • Atlantic Superstore (5178 St Margarets Bay Road, Upper Tantallon) on May 21 between 2:45 p.m. and 5 p.m. It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the dates indicated may develop symptoms until June 4 inclusive. .
  • Atlantic Superstore Garden Centre (5178 St Margarets Bay Road, Upper Tantallon) sur:
    • May 21 between 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
    • May 22 between 8 a.m. and 9:15 p.m.
    • Anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the dates indicated is expected to develop symptoms until June 5 inclusive.
  • Costco (230 Chain Lake Drive, Halifax), May 18 between 9 am and 10:30 am It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the dates indicated may develop symptoms until June 1 inclusive.
  • Walmart (6990 Mumford Road, Halifax) on May 21 between 11:30 am and 3:30 pm It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the dates indicated may develop symptoms until June 4 inclusive.
  • Atlantic Superstore (6139 Quinpool Road, Halifax) on May 22 between 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the dates indicated may develop symptoms until June 5 inclusive.
  • Walmart (90 Lamont Terrace, Dartmouth) on May 18 between 4 pm and 5:30 pm It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the dates indicated may develop symptoms until June 1 inclusive.

Note: Test takers are encouraged to sign up to receive email notification of negative test results. To be eligible, you must bring a provincial health card with you to your exam appointment. It may take up to 72 hours to receive test results. It is not uncommon for two or more family members to be tested at the same time and receive the results at different times.

Do not go directly to a COVID-19 assessment center uninvited. Please make an appointment online or call 811 and do not go to a pop-up rapid test location.

Currently, anyone who has traveled outside of Nova Scotia should self-isolate for 14 days after arrival. If a person returning from a non-essential trip outside of Nova Scotia is unable to self-isolate, then everyone in the house where they self-isolate will also need to self-isolate.
