Angelo Fulgini pulled one out in added time at the end of the game, but the hosts couldn’t prevent Lille from becoming champions for the fourth time in their history.

The title triumph came after another away success for Lille, who have ended the season undefeated on the road since November, and ended a three-year streak of consecutive league wins for PSG.

Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG will have to be content with the Coupe de France in a disappointing season for the Qatari club.

Monaco won the race for last place in the Champions League despite a scoreless draw at Lens, as Lyon lost 3-2 at home to mid-table team Nice and allowed the Principality club to win third place.

Lyon will participate in the Europa League alongside Marseille, fifth, who lost 1-0 to Metz.
